She's a spunky little dragonlet, prone to getting into things she should not. I don't recommend adopting her if you have fish, parakeets, mice, or other small pets, or a lot of breakable items near floor level. She's quite smart though, and given lots of training and attention she will become better behaved. She is mainly carnivorous, but will snack on fruits and some vegetables as well. It is not advisable to feed her coffee or chocolate or she will become extremely hyper and start literally bouncing off the walls.
Spotted Fire-Mane is about 24" from nose to tail, with polymer clay head, ears, and feet, and a soft, posable body. Her ears can be posed individually. Her fur was hand painted but is still soft.
With each posable I've made, I have learned something and improved upon the last. This is my best one yet! I've found an excellent varnish now, which dries smooth and clear, and gives the eyes a glass-like shine. (Yes, they are clay too.)
She'll be up on my Etsy store shortly. I need to find a good box and sort some things out shipping wise. Things are a bit busy for me right now, what with getting ready for college and compiling some portfolios, but I will have her for sale as soon as possible. I will post a journal about it when I do, so if I am on your watch you will know. In the meantime, Blue-Sided Antelope is still for sale! www.etsy.com/listing/162521847…
