Dragon Posable WIP by CMWyvern Dragon Posable WIP by CMWyvern
Here's a sneak peak of my posable art doll making technique! I make the head and feet first and then glue them onto an armature.

This guy is going to be my 4th posable art doll and is very similar to Fire Dragon :thumb374948107: , but will be a different color.

EDIT: This turned into Blue-Green Dragon fav.me/d6fbb93.

At various craft stores. It's pretty easy to find. You can order it online as well.

This was blue-green dragon, actually. I used epoxy. Some prefer to use some kind of epoxy putty.

looking fantastic so far! may i ask how exactly you attach the wire frame to the feet without them coming off?

With epoxy. It seems to work well, though I haven't been doing this for long, so I can't say for sure. Some people put foil and or floral tape on the wire, then sculpt onto that, but this seemed to me like a better method.

Not at this time.. I have zero experience with resin. I might try someday, though.

Casting is really easy - take a look at my tutorials about how to mold and cast if you'd like to give it a try for future projects. [link] :meow:

Sweet! that does make it look so easy! I might just have to give it a try. I've added your casting tutorials to my tutorials collection for future reference.
